Proxy Planet made its first debut in the proxy industry with the launch of InstantUnblock.com in September of 2006. Since then, it has grown into a sprawling network of more than 40 web proxies. It is our goal to provide the masses with means to overcome Internet censorship. Through unrestricted, unfiltered Interent access, the Internet can be made a better place. 

Proxy Planet proxies are unique in that unlike some other proxy networks, Proxy Planet cares about its users and tries to keep as many advertisements off its sites as possible. As a rule, we limit advertisements to two ad blocks on the homepage of the site and do not display pop-up or pop-under advertising. Though adding more advertisements to Proxy Planet would increase revenue substantially, Proxy Planet puts its users first. We also do not believe in charging for our services. People shouldn't have to pay for censor-free Internet, and it everyone's inherent right to surf the web without restrictions.

Our proxies are used in all 50 states of the United States as well as in every country around the world. Below are some typical uses for our  proxies:

• Web designers looking to see how sites load for other users. Since proxies load websites through their own servers and not the user's, such ingenious use of proxies is possible.

The Proxy Planet Network is hosted on a dedicated server at the FDC datacenter in Chicago. Plans are in place to expand the network's server infrastucture to further its goal of providing unfiltered Internet access.
